Friends is an integral part of Coten End Primary School and in the 2011 / 2012 school year we raised £12,000 to fund projects and activities that will benefit every child in the school. We also provide a vibrant social atmosphere where staff, parents and pupils get together informally.

We encourage as many people as possible to get involved and help us to run the events. As a registered charity we have to have elected officers, but our meetings are all very informal. We meet once each half term to discuss upcoming events and plan new ones, and then each event's organising team make the events happen: So meetings are kept to a minimum, we prefer to get on with the doing!

Friends consists of parents, staff, and anyone else who wants to get involved.
